mystery out of fine winemaking:

WineCoach

The 5 steps to making your
own fine wine at home

The WinePod delivers state-of-the-art fine winemaking to your home. Going from grape to bottle is easy with the step-by-step guidance of our complete system.

There is simply no better way to learn the art of fine winemaking than with the WinePod. And it takes a lot less time than you might think.

1. Load Premium Grapes into the WinePod

Get your premium grapes from ProVina and load them into the WinePod. Go ahead and taste them as you do. You’ll be using premium grapes from some highly acclaimed vineyards.

2. Begin the Fermentation

Mix in additions and the yeast to start the fermentation process. You’ll punch down the cap regularly. The WinePod’s revolutionary technology has sensors and controls that combine with our WineCoach software to virtually eliminate any potential mistakes and guides you through the fermentation process. Get answers to any of your questions with the advice and support from professional winemakers and through our WinePod Winemaker community. And again, don’t forget to taste regularly!

3. Press the wine

Once fermentation is complete it’s time to press the wine. Pressing has never been easier with the WinePod’s innovative set up. Simply press a button and the WinePod does all the work. Once the press is finished transfer your wine to an oak barrel or other vessel to begin the aging process. Clean up is just as easy. Simply press a button and the pomace basket will be ready for removal.

4. Put it in oak barrels for ageing

During pressing, you’ll move your wine to a French oak barrel or other vessel to age. Now you can sit back and relax. But don’t forget to taste the wine as it ages. Barrel tasting is a very educational part of the winemaking process.

5. Bottle it, share it, enjoy it

A few months later, your wine will be ready to bottle, cork, wax… and enjoy! You will have a top quality wine to share with family and friends. And lots of it: usually about four cases of 750ml bottles.
